They transfer back and forth repeatedly, just for the money. And where does this money come from? Your pharmacy techs are given meager wages and tech hours keep getting cut. I wish these 'promotions' would be outlawed. We have been reduced to Carnival Barkers indeed. I like being able to talk to the pharmacist about drugs interactions or just symptoms in general. They see a lot of people in the course of a day and sometimes they know things that doctors don't know. Like maybe people associate nausea with this medication because it's usually given for people on chemo who already feel nauseous. I've moved to different states a few times and have had to transfer prescriptions because the pharmacy doesn't have a location in that state. So I will look for the coupon. And I know that I can't possibly bring in that much business to the pharmacy. But there are those of us out there who really do appreciate what you do and know that you really do make our lives better.

Although, to be sure, I've asked pharmacists questions before and they have told me to read the medication guide. That's a case when I won't come back or won't pick up a prescription when that person is on staff. Because seriously, having a complex chronic illness is hard enough.

Thanks for all that you do and I'm glad that you find your job at least somewhat entertaining.

AbigailAbigail Cashellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06250292620460654855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3684250999334358862.post-22333934603821280902013-09-10T15:56:45.590-07:002013-09-10T15:56:45.590-07:00I worked for Shoppers Supervalu- one summer they d...I worked for Shoppers Supervalu- one summer they did a $100 transfer coupon-$50 for the first transfer, $10 for the next 5. I went to hospital pharmacy and haven't looked back. I feel your pain.

Leah https://www.blogger.com/profile/12969694049187510812noreply@blogger.com
