My in-laws live in the Canadian Maritimes, pretty much 30 hears behind everyone else. My MIL was recently in the hospital & got discharged with a new Coumadin script. The instructions read 'to be taken as needed'. Seriously. How exactly does one know when they need one? Everybody seems to tout Canadian health care as top notch, but one thing is true - you get what you pay for... Just found your blog via Twitter. Great stuff!
