Dispense as Written


I think maybe the prescriber here is fully aware that he signed DAW for a generic medication. But knowing this particular patient I think he's doing it because she insists that generics don't work for her. 

 At least that's what I hope.

    Been there, done that. More often that I would care to admit.
    Especially love people who insist on no generics! and when I point out that the drug I've been prescribing for months IS a generic, they go "then it doesn't work for me, change it to brand".
