The Verbal Written Warning

We received this email from The Authorities:

"Dear Team Members,

This is the 4th time I have reminded you to complete the compliance training that was due by the 30th. If you fail to complete the training, you and the pharmacy manager will each receive a verbal written warning. This is the 3rd time you have received this warning and many of you have still not completed the training.

I'm not sure what a "verbal written warning" is, but I'll bet I don't want one. Maybe it is a hybrid of a verbal warning and a written warning? Or maybe it is "double secret probation?"
