This was me...
...just last night. I wanted to get out of that damn pharmacy and away from the horrible Monday madness.
The clock ticked down to ten minutes left. I was giddy with excitement. Soon I would be enjoying a tasty beverage and a Caesar salad and watching MasterChef on Hulu.
But then she showed up: A mom, with two prescriptions for her small child. Necessary prescriptions. Not ones that can wait.
I know pharmacists that would have turned her away. But not me. I couldn't do that. I may not have liked it, but I still did it.
It was the right thing to do.

Crazy, you did the right thing.
I don't mind filling prescriptions right at closing for sick people, and especially for children. I figure I became a pharmacist to help people.
But if you want your Adderall, come back tomorrow!
Sheesh already!
