It's later in the evening. The candy is all gone. I've turned out the lights so kids know we're done for the night.
Ding... dong
The doorbell rings. I ignore it.
Ding... dong
Jeez kids, get a clue.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK! These aren't "Grandma are you home?" knocks. These are "Police! Open the Door" knocks.
Seconds later I hear someone trying the door handle.
Really? Is that how it is in Snootyville now? What is the world coming to? Seriously!
Euthanize me.
