Ecotrin

Lady: "Where is your Ecotrin?"

Me: "We don't have brand Ecotrin, but we have plenty of enteric-coated Aspirin. It's the same thing."

Lady: "No. My doctor said I need Ecotrin."

Me: "Yes. Your doctor wants you to take ENTERIC-COATED Aspirin. That's what the 'EC' means in Ecotrin. Here's a box of enteric-coated Aspirin. Same thing, much less cost."

Lady: "No. I will take Ecotrin."

Lady walks away. 

How ironic when you think about the many people that come up to the window to drop off a prescription and give you that squint when they want to make sure you're giving them generic.
