Hey Doc...


...if what you're "prescribing" doesn't really exist, maybe you shouldn't be prescribing it?

People have been prescribing 5/325 for decades. It's in their muscle memory. So some bright thing decided to take 25mg of Tylenol out of the tab, saving a handful of hypothetical people from liver failure. You expect docs to remember that? Sorry. Not high on my list of priorities.

Vicodin never existed as a 325 version (you're thinking of Norco). Writing for Vicodin 5/325 would be like writing for OxyContin immediate release.

Write for hydrocodone/APAP if you can't be bothered to learn trade names.
