While they often elicit a good laugh, I always put auxiliary labels on every medicine bottle. Why? Well, how many people do you know that have taken a friend's or relative's medicine?
What if that person was a pregnant woman who took her husband's leftover Vicoprofen during the last stage of pregnancy? Or a woman who decided to take her little sister's Flagyl and then go out partying the next day? There are hundreds of contraindications out there for lots of medicines. Why should I assume the patient doesn't hang around idiots?
