So, do you suppose the office called the patient and said, "Hey, you need an appointment," or do they just like to take their snark out on you?
We have patients like this. We have told them *repeatedly* that they must come in for an appointment before their next refill. Believe me, we are not yelling at YOU. But if you'd like to hold this up in front of the patient, maybe, just maybe, it will sink in that they need to make an (sigh) appointment. Yes?
I don't know about other pharmacies but at mine we definitely hand these on over to the patient when we can.
