Significant Digits 101.000



With this spurious quantity of 9.000 tablets to dispense, I wonder about the poor pharmacy that had to dispense 9.005 tablets... and how they measured it with any kind of precision.

One thing is certain... when the pharmacist or technician sees a prescription like this, we have a good laugh AT the prescriber.

I think I have seen where some European countries use a period instead of a comma as a thousands separator in their numbers. I suspect the prescriber was trying to order nine thousand tablets. ;<)
