The Verbal Written Warning

A recent email from The Authorities:

"Dear Team Members,

This is the 4th time I have reminded you to complete the compliance training that was due by July 31st. If you fail to complete the training, you and the pharmacy manager will each receive a verbal written warning. This is the 3rd time you have received this warning and many of you have still not completed the training.

Sincerely,

The Authorities"

I'm not sure what a "verbal written warning" is, but I'll bet I don't want one. Maybe it is a hybrid of a verbal warning and a written warning? Or maybe it is "double secret probation?"

If it is anything like the nursing ones I have to do every year, I feel your pain. I guess we are supposed to have something to do on the hours of free time during the work day? Perhaps you should offer to ignore the customers in order to get it done. Or, suggest they pay you on a day off to come in and do it.

So you are non-compliant with compliance training ? Maybe your DM is going to READ to you a WRITTEN WARNING.. because he/she believes that you are smart enough to read/understand the written warning yourself ?
